Then you’ll want to determine the neighborhood you want to live in. It’s much easier to weed through the plethora of available apartments after you narrow things down a bit. After that it’s a good idea to interview the owner or management company to find out how the building issues are handled. If at all possible, talk to some of the tenants in the building to see how they like living there. This will give you a good idea if the owner/landlord is responsive and if there are any other issues like crime, or trouble tenants in the building.
Over all you’ll find plenty of great apartments for rent in NH. I would highly recommend getting the help of a real estate agent to find a place to live. They’ll have a good idea of what’s available and which neighborhoods in the area have what you’re looking for. They are also knowledgeable about tenant laws that are there to help you. Best of all they will usually be paid by the landlord so their services will be free to you.
